Hairy dragonfly Parc Slip

Had this photo sent in by a visitor yesterday, beautiful! First dragonfly of the year for Parc Slip.

Yet to spot my first Odonata of the year but very much looking forward to the season ahead.

Parc Slip

First damselfly of the year for Parc Slip reported by butterfly recorders john and Margaret yesterday, they didn't say what species but will be keeping my eyes peeled now. Will also be very interesting to see what Odonata moves into the new wetland here.
